We’re delighted to share that the Brotherhood was recently nominated for a Community Group Award at the BBC Radio Northampton Make a Difference Awards. We came highly commended in our category at a wonderful awards night celebrating the best community groups in our area, held at the Northampton Derngate Theatre.

It means a lot to us to have recognition for the amazing community of men we’re building - it’s the commitment and dedication of all who attend our groups to become better men, to show up to support our families and wider communities, that makes us what we are.

For Northamptonshire’s International Men’s Day event, our facilitator, Dave, shared the story of his journey - working through severe PTSD following a violent intrusion at his family home. He opens up about his challenges and fears around seeking help, the anxiety he felt before attending his first Brotherhood group, but also the profound difference these men have made to his life and his recovery. Help us help the men who need help.

Brotherhood Men’s Groups run free sessions across North Northants every week. We rely on a team of volunteer facilitators and have no direct income, so we rely largely on donations and fundraising activities of our members.
